How difficult is it to climb Mount Kilimanjaro?

Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro is challenging but does not require technical climbing skills. With good physical fitness, proper preparation, and enough acclimatization days, many climbers successfully reach the summit.

Most Kilimanjaro climbs take 6 to 9 days, depending on the route. We recommend 7 days or more to allow better acclimatization and increase summit success rates.

The best time to climb Mount Kilimanjaro is during the dry seasons:

  • January to March

  • June to October

These months usually offer clearer skies and better trekking conditions.

Summit success depends on the route and number of days. Longer routes with better acclimatization have higher success rates, often over 85% with experienced guides.

No technical climbing experience is required. However, good fitness and some hiking experience will help you enjoy the trek more.

You can book by contacting us through our website, email, or WhatsApp. A deposit is required to confirm your booking, and the remaining balance can be paid before or upon arrival.
