This 3 Days Tanzania Safari is a perfect short adventure that takes you to three of the most famous wildlife destinations in Northern Tanzania. The tour combines breathtaking landscapes, diverse wildlife, and unforgettable game viewing experiences in Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire National Park.

Your safari begins with a visit to Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful park located at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment and known for its lush forest, tree-climbing lions, and large populations of baboons. The adventure continues with a full-day game drive in the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five in a single day.

On the final day, you will explore Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and rich wildlife along the Tarangire River. This carefully designed safari offers an excellent introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife and natural beauty while providing comfortable accommodation and professional guiding throughout the journey.

Plan Day By Day

Arrival Date

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you directly to your hotel in Arusha or Moshi for check-in and relaxation after your journey. The transfer takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on traffic.

After a breakfast, your driver guide will be ready to pick you and start your 3-hours journey travel to Lake Manyara National Park, one of the smallest but most diverse parks in Tanzania. The shallow and alkaline Lake Manyara covers a large area of the park and it is the seasonal home to thousands of flamingos – an awesome (pink) sight. However more than 400 other bird species are also found here as well as some wonderful mammals. Troops of monkeys live in the forests, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras and wildebeests on the grassy plains and elephants and lions in the acacia woodlands. From adventure open roof of the vehicle you will be able to watch the animals and absorb the stunning landscape of the park and its Great Rift valley. In the evening your drive to Karatu for your overnight at the lodge arranged. On your way you stop at viewpoint of Lake Manyara and you will enjoy the stunning of the lake and its surroundings.

Dinner and overnight at Karatu / Mto wa Mbu

After an early breakfast you will have a sort drive to the Ngorongoro entrances and few minutes you start descending to 600m down the crater for game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is almost 600 m deep, approximately 20 km wide and the massive caldera is home to an amazing variety of animals. On your game drive you have the possibility of seeing all different kinds of mammals ranging from the Big Five – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard – to Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles and mountain reedbucks. You might also see spotted hyenas, and some of the more than 500 bird species of the area. After a picnic lunch in the crater and some more game viewing, you will leave the crater in the afternoon and travel back to Karatu.

Dinner and overnight at Karatu / Mto wa Mbu

After breakfast, you will depart for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most beautiful and wildlife-rich parks. Tarangire is well known for its large herds of elephants, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife.

Upon arrival, you will begin your game drive across the park’s vast savannah landscapes. During the safari, you may see elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and many species of antelope. The Tarangire River, which flows through the park, attracts a large number of animals especially during the dry season.

Around midday, you will stop at a picnic site inside the park to enjoy your lunch while surrounded by the natural beauty of the park. After lunch, the game drive continues as you explore more areas and search for wildlife.

In the afternoon, you will leave the park and drive back to Arusha, where your safari adventure comes to an end.

Meals: Breakfast and Lunch.

After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, you will have some time to relax before your scheduled transfer. Depending on your flight schedule, our driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight home.
