Your safari adventure begins early in the morning with pick-up from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi. After a short briefing from your safari guide, you will start the drive toward Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most beautiful and wildlife-rich national parks. The drive takes approximately 2 to 3 hours through scenic landscapes and local Maasai villages.

Tarangire National Park is famous for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Upon arrival at the park gate, you will begin your first exciting game drive. As you explore the park, you may see elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, buffaloes, and many species of antelope. The park is also home to predators such as lions, leopards, and occasionally cheetahs.

Around midday, you will stop at a scenic picnic site inside the park to enjoy your lunch while surrounded by nature. After lunch, the afternoon game drive continues along the Tarangire River, which attracts many animals, especially during the dry season.

In the late afternoon, you will exit the park and drive to your lodge or tented camp near the Ngorongoro area for dinner and overnight stay.

Meals: Lunch and Dinner.

After an early breakfast, you will depart for the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most famous wildlife destinations and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact volcanic caldera and home to an incredible concentration of wildlife.

You will descend approximately 600 meters into the crater for an unforgettable game drive on the crater floor. This natural wildlife sanctuary is home to more than 25,000 animals including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and hyenas. With some luck, you may also spot the rare black rhino, one of the most sought-after animals in Africa.

During the safari, you will stop for a picnic lunch near the hippo pool while enjoying the spectacular scenery of the crater. After lunch, the game drive continues as you explore more areas of this unique ecosystem.

In the afternoon, you will ascend from the crater and begin the drive back to Arusha, where you will arrive in the early evening. Overnight stay at your hotel in Arusha.

Meals: Breakfast and Lunch.

After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, you will have some time to relax before your scheduled transfer. Depending on your flight schedule, our driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight home.

If you plan to continue your journey to another destination within Tanzania, our team can also arrange additional transfers or tours from Arusha.  We hope to welcome you again for another adventure in Tanzania. ✨
